It all started in 1955 when Orlo Sinclair opened one store in Orrville. In 1980 son Lynn took over and expanded to nine stores. In 2014 Lynn’s son, Cody joined the ranks after a stint at corporate NAPA in Columbus. Now there are fifteen locations: Copley, Millersburg, Portage Lakes, Ashland, Wadsworth, Barberton, Lodi, Medina, Doylestown, Loudonville, Rittman, Wooster, New London Wellington, and Orrville.
As Vice President, Cody Sinclair says, “We take pride in our knowledge and in customer satisfaction. We never try to say no, we always try to get an answer, we always go up and beyond to get a part.” With shuttles several times a day, and a collective inventory of over seven million dollars, customers can get a part the same day even if it’s not at the store they’re visiting.
"We emphasize a family atmosphere in the organization and in all of our stores," continues Cody. "We always try to promote from within; we like to grow people into leadership positions. The management staff is pretty tenured. There are over 100 employees, but the emphasis is on family."
Independently owned, the stores operate under the NAPA brand. The company mixes paint in three locations—Orrville, and Wooster—and makes hydraulic hoses in 12 locations.
For over sixty five years, Orlo Auto Pats has offered their customers the very best service, products and advice in the area. Orlo Sinclair founded the business on the principles of quality, commitment and customer care. Lynn and Cody have maintained these principles throughout the years and believe wholeheartedly in the business model that Orlo began over a century ago.
